Fee Structure & Terms of Service

By submitting your Initial Design Fee to Expertly Emily, you agree to the following terms regarding agency fees, communication, and itinerary management.

1. Initial Consultation & Itinerary Design Fee

Expertly Emily requires a non-refundable Initial Design Fee of $200 prior to commencing any research or itinerary development. This fee covers our introductory discovery call, comprehensive destination research, the presentation of one curated itinerary option for a single household (up to 5 travelers) for trips up to 7 nights in duration.

2. Airfare Ticketing and Management

A non-refundable ticketing fee applies to all air travel arrangements. This fee covers the expertise required to research optimal routing, secure the booking, and actively manage the reservation through any airline-initiated schedule changes or disruptions.

• Domestic Ticketing Fee: $40 per passenger.

• International Ticketing Fee: $75 per passenger.

• Note: These fees are for agency services and are independent of any baggage fees, seat selection costs, or penalties assessed directly by the airline.

3. Itinerary Revisions and Post-Booking Changes

Expertly Emily provides a streamlined planning process designed for efficiency. Your initial planning fee includes the presentation of up to two curated itinerary options for your initial feedback, followed by a designated round of minor revisions before finalizing the booking.

• Post-Booking Change Fee: Once an itinerary is confirmed and a deposit is applied, voluntary changes requested by the client (such as date modifications, changing accommodations, or altering destinations) will incur an agency change fee of $100 per occurrence.

• Supplier Penalties: Agency change fees are charged in addition to any cancellation, rescheduling, or penalty fees imposed directly by the travel suppliers (e.g., hotels, cruise lines, or tour operators).

4. Consultations and Telephone Meetings

To provide the highest level of dedicated service and respect your schedule, all consultations are structured and planned in advance. The initial planning fee includes our introductory discovery call and one pre-departure itinerary review.

• Additional Telephone Meetings: To maintain an efficient workflow and ensure all clients receive prompt attention, additional telephone meetings or extended consultation calls beyond the standard included sessions are billed at a rate of $60 per 30-minute block.

• Scheduling: All telephone consultations must be scheduled in advance. This ensures thorough preparation and allows for a highly productive, focused conversation.
